Ebay item 4/12/05
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $6,600.00 (Reserve not met), 7 bids, 5 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
Welcome to my auction of a 1973 Jaguar XKE Series 3 V-12. This is the 2 + 2 model with automatic transmission. This is an Arizona car which has been pampered by its two owners. The miles of 64,000 are actual; present owner has driven the car 26,000 in last 14 years. When not in use it has always been kept garaged. The paint still looks very good and the interior is sharp with just some average wear showing on driver seat. This is a very reliable driver and performed well on a recent 1,000 mile trip. Tires are new Michelins (still has the original Dunlop spare); new engine and transmission seals, new belts and hoses. The a/c is the original R-12 and could use a charge, original door window seals show some cracking.

67,250, ON EBAY, SALVAGE TITLE, SELLER WRITES: For sale is a 1973 Jaguar E-Type V12 Coupe 2+2. This is a used vehicle that will be sold with a salvaged title. This vehicle will be sold with a Arizona title. The Jaguar E-Type is powered by a V12 and is also equipped with a automatic transmission. The motor looks great but we were unable to start it because of the damage to the cooling system on the front of the vehicle, once the cooling system is restored and repaired this Jaguar should fire right up. The vehicle only has 67250 miles on it and for a car that is 34 years old that is very impressive. The interior of the E-Type is in very good condition. The only damage is a few small cracks to the dash and some normal ware and tare to the front seats. The front of the dash and all the switches are in good working condition with no damage. The cluster is in good condition and the dash glass is in perfect condition with no damage. The vehicle is equipped with a aftermarket cd player. The front seats do have some normal ware and tare but the rear seats look great. The complete carpet for this Jaguar is in great condition with no holes, rips or any other defects. If you look in the rear of the vehicle you will notice the vehicle does have the spare tire and the spare tire cover. The leather in the rear of the Jaguar is also in very good condition as you can see. As you can see in the pictures the two door panels look great just like the rest of the interior. Besides the front bonnet for the Jaguar there is very little body damage. The drivers front door does have a few dings but nothing that could not be repaired. On the passenger side of the vehicle there is a dent on the quarter panel right behind the passenger door, that dent is also repairable. The only other damage the body has is a dent on the underside of the quarter panel (see pictures). The rear hatch and all the chrome is in very good working condition with no damage. All the chrome on the exterior of the vehicle is in great shape and still shines like new. The radiator and condensor will need to be replaced but the rest of engine compartment and all its parts look good. There is some damage to the front inner structure as well, the parts will need be fixed or maybee even replaced. The only other damage to the outside of the vehicle is a cracked lens on the passenger side tail light. The wheels and the center caps are in such good condition they look new. This Jaguar E-Type with a little bit of time and a little bit of love will look great and will be a very, very fun car to drive and show off to your friends. This Jaguar will be sold as is with no warranty.

The car was finished in 2008 and is in original condition now. I have been driving it without any problems for a couple of years now and am ready to do another one at some time.
