I bought this car last week (May 2007) in Switzerland. I am investigating about more history. Help from US would be appreciated very much.

I've bought the car recently and enjoyed the first miles with it. It's in very original unrestored condition and a good runner.

I own the car now for more than 6 years. Always maintained by a Jaguar specialist, it is a reliable runner, mechanically in top condition, interior and painting still original and nicely worn.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
