Ebay item 11/8/14
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-XKE-1973-jaguar-xke-64-k-miles-air-conditioning-m ...
Current bid US $8,100 reserve not met, 9 bids 8 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
1973 Jaguar XKE e-Type Coupe for Sale. Numbers Matching, rust free California car. 64,600 miles which look to be original. One repaint in Coral Metallic over it's original factory Silver.
Original, well preserved leather, dash and panels. Leather in nice condition along with dash, console, door panels, glass, gauges, seat belts, chrome trim, etc. All vents in the factory air conditioning are in mint condition.
Exterior clean enough to enjoy as is but with the continually sky-rocketing values of the e-Types, worthy of an eventual repaint. Body is rust free and straight with a small ding in the nose. The chrome trim is in impressive condition, free of pitting. Very little if any chrome would need attention. The chrome on the wheels is in above average shape having been replaced in the not too distant past. This car has been garaged and kept clean.
Has been stored indoors for the last 6-7 years. Prior to starting, our classic British specialist cleaned out all fuel systems and took all precautionary steps to perform a proper cold-start. Car starts and runs beautifully at the correct temperature, has a fully operational choke, quiet, new stainless steel exhaust system, smooth acceleration and excellent shifting. The brakes are in excellent working order and the car drives and tracks straight. Currently the RPM gauge is not operational and the air conditioning system does not blow cold. My mechanic recommends that the timing chain tensioners be replaced at some point.
Reasonable offers will be considered. Available only at Left Coast Classics!
