This 1973 Jaguar E-Type is a 2+2 coupe that was recently acquired by the selling dealer as a non-running project. It is finished in yellow over black leather and is equipped with a 5.3-liter V12 and a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ knock-off wire wheels, air conditioning components, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM radio. Work performed in 2010 reportedly included overhauling the engine with replacement pistons and cylinder liners. This E-Type project is offered at no reserve by the selling dealer with spare parts and a clean New York title.
The car is finished in Pale Primrose and features chrome-finished bumpers with overriders, a driver-side mirror, and central quad exhaust outlets. Paint imperfections and areas of corrosion are present on various body panels.
Chrome 15″ wire wheels feature knock-off hubs and wear Michelin redwall tires. The car is equipped with four-wheel disc brakes, which utilize inboard-mounted rear discs.
The cabin features front bucket seats and individual rear seats trimmed in black leather with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. The seating surfaces exhibit wear, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM push-button radio is mounted in the center stack. The car was factory equipped with air conditioning and power steering.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer, and an analog clock and auxiliary gauges are present in the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 83k miles, and true mileage is unknown.
The 5.3-liter V12 is equipped with four single-barrel carburetors. Work performed in 2010 reportedly including overhauling the engine with replacement pistons and cylinder linings. The engine does not run.
The car is equipped with a three-speed automatic transmission.
Spare and removed parts are included in the sale.
The identification tag is stamped with Car No. UDIS74149BW, and the title displays identification number UD1574149.
