Ebay item 8/10/06
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-EType-V12-Roadster-from-California_W0QQite ...
Current bid $2,247 reserve not met, 4 bids, 6 days left in auction. Buy it now price $35k. Auto trans.

Sellers description:
1973 Jaguar E Type Roadster in excellent condition..absolutely rust free...there is no evidence of either rust repair or collision repair to the car..the panel fit is the best that I have seen..The hood, the trunk lid and the doors open and close perfectly....

The car was repainted some years back...a very professional job and has held up very well...it looks stunning...The car was always a silver car, never repainted a different color like some that I have seen...There are 2 locations in the paint where there is a slight stone chip,,,They are so minor that they do not show in the pictures...The chrome is in excellent condition,,,no dents or dings and no pitting...

The interior of the car is origional and excellent...seats show only a minimal sign of wear..considering that this is an unrestored car I think that it is excellent..dash pad and carpets are also in fine condition with no rips or tears..the soft top is in very nice condition.. there is no rips or tears but the rear window shows some discoloration.

Mechanically the car is in great shape.. the engine starts right up and runs excellent...oil pressure is as it should be and there is no overheating issues...The transmission operates very smoothly through all the gears...no problem.. the brakes are all fine with plenty of meat left on the pads and no scoring to the rotors...very important with these cars especially in the rear..

The lights, horn , radio and all the other electrics are functioning properly. with the exception of the speedometer all the gauges are working fine..I cannot verify the mileage on the car but lets face who can on a 40 year old car...

The car is an excellent car ready to use and enjoy.,,one can just get in and take it for a drive...i would have no hesitation in taking it on a long trip.
