Monegasque registration document

Our example, like most of the production run, was delivered new to the United States before being imported to France for a complete restoration. Despite the lack of documents describing this restoration, the overall quality of the restoration is impossible to question, given the car's current excellent condition!

Describing this restoration, the overall quality of the latter is impossible to question, given the car's current excellent condition!

It was certainly the previous owner, a Monegasque billionaire, who commissioned this unique restoration. Today, the car is still in "new restoration" condition, and has also benefited from work a few months ago, including the replacement of the clutch transmitter/receiver and a general overhaul.

During our test drive, we were pleasantly surprised by the car's overall smooth running despite the recent months of immobilization. Once warmed up, the engine revs well: an adjustment was recently made by the current owner's mechanics. Also noteworthy is the addition of power steering, making handling the beast much easier...

This V12 E-Type with manual transmission is the perfect convertible for racking up the miles this summer. With such an attractive estimate, it would be a shame not to take a chance!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
