This Car is So original that it even has the little round inspection stickers still on the back of the seat belt buckles! It is Simply the BEST ORIGINAL E-Type Convertible That I have seen since the 1970's!!! And I have seen alot of them,

The broker that took the car in trade from her and her husband, had extensive maintance preformed by himself and a local Import Car Repair facitity, after years of storage which included the following repairs and updates:

-4 Brand New Dunlop Chrome Wire Wheels, 4 Pirelli P4000 Radial Tires, and 4 Brand New Jaguar Knock-offs, along with new tubes, flaps, mounting, balancing, and Alingment! He had felt that the old Original Dunlop SP Sport ER70X15SP(E70R X !5)they were dangerous for high speed driving due to their age (The Orginal Take-off Wheels and Tires are included to the New Owner and they have approx 60-70% tread left on them to document the original milage stated.

-All Fluids including Engine Oil, Gearbox Oil, and Rear End Differential Oils have been replaced with Modern Equivelents, along with All Filters including Both Air Filter Elements, Oil Filter, and Fuel Filters have been recently Replaced!

-The Carburetors were removed, cleaned and overhauled with factory repair kits, needles and Diaphrams, and re-set and balanced to the Jaguar Factory Specs!

-Due to excessive exhaust noise at the manifolds, all Exhaust Manifold Gaskets and header pipe packings/seals were replaced using new studs and nuts where neccessary! The rear Exhaust sytem was also replaced using Factory Jaguar Pipes, clamps, hangers and Muffler!

-A New Premium Napa Battery was installed , Charging System Checked, and Voltage Regulator adjusted to return the complete charging system to "dependable" factory specs!

With it's Sexy Drop Dead Gorgeous LOOKS and Powerfully Smooth V12 Engine, It is no Wonder that These Last of the E-Types are on Everyone's WISH List! Prices have been slowly recovering for the last few years, but Now They are On FIRE with Investment Gains fair surpassing many other Marques! In Europe they have already surpassed their old record highs, with No End in Sight! Get the Best Survivor that you can find Now Before every Great Car will be $100K Plus! The market has been rewarding Pristine Original's Over the Over-Restored Trailer Queens, and with the cost of restoration now over $80-100K, and rusty restorable cars trading in the $25-40K range, it Only Makes Logical Sense To Buy ONLY The Best Original Car That you Can Find and Afford, and NOW!!! This Car will not disappoint the most suffisicated buyer, and you may have to LOOK LONG and LOOK HARD to find another equal to it's Authenticity and Overall Quaity, and your Time is Money! I have owned and brokered many E-Type's in the past 15 years, and I know how hard it is to find a good XK-E, let alone a GREAT XK-E! More than 90% of the cars are the market are Junk, and the 'restoration' word is overused and mis-understood at best! Save Yourself alot of financial and emotional Pain, and salvage your ego, by owning the Best car You can Find. If you have the money and are new to the 'Hobby', please don't get "Stung" with a Bad Jaguar-It will Eat You alive!

-By Now everyone is wondering, what current/potentail problems or repairs can I expect with this car? Currently not many at all. Being an anal perfectionist, I have noticed a few minor issues that need fixed. The future problems are hard for anyone to predict!

1)The clock needs a battery installed.

2)The fuel tank guage shows incorrecty(I just filled it and it still shows 1/2 full)and most likely needs a new sending unit.

3)The front lower air scope is missing it's chome surrond, but was found in the trunk.

4)The A/C blows kinda cold, but could use a re-charge(I include a 1bl.can of freon that you can get installed.

5)There are a total of 5-6 paint Chips(one on the bonnet and 3-4 paint chips and a small ding on R/H rear wheel wheel lip. See photo that I have included of it!

6)The rear trunk lid latch catches only when closed hard (fairly common), but if inspected carefully in the right light you will see slight imperfections in boot lower center contour.

7)If this car wasn't so nice and original I could afford to keep it myself, But If I did the own it for life, the 1st thing I would do is replace the OE Radiator with a 'Classic Jaguar' unit with Built in H/D Nascar Cooling fan! Bottom line is that all these cars run hottter that I Like, and it was more a Jaguar design flaw and a particular car flaw! Carbs may need a further adjustment depending on your altitude and/or climate(or other)!!!

8)Oh yeah, I almost forgot that the L/H lower door rubber is slighly torn from being folded over incorrectly for so many years!

8)Lastly, I have never have the Original Convertible top up, but it is rumoured to have a small tear in it, an I would be more than willing to send any Serious Bidder a photo of it or any other part of the car that you may have a question about!

In Closing I Firmly Believe that the best of these cars will soon be well over $100,000.00 very soon, and only the Best of The Best will Get There 1ST. This is the Best of the Best in the Un-Restored/Survivor category! From my carefull inspection I can not see any evidence of Accident Damage, Paint Work, or Rot/Cancer/Rust anywhere on this car, Yes there are a few spots of surface rust on under-body components or a under car paint chip or two-But that is the extent of it! Come see it over the next 10 days and I guarentee that you will be very Impressed!!! Caution-If you see or/or drive this car you will Just Have To Have it!

For sale at the Classic Car House of Kongens Lyngby for 699,900 Danish kroner. Amended seller's description below.

    www.classiccarhouse.dk/koeb.klassik-bil

We have pleasure in offering an exceptionally well preserved and completely original example. The legendary Jaguar E Type Series 3 benefitted from the absolutely marvellous 5.3 litre V12 engine. Add a 4 speed manual transmission and you have the recipe for the enthusiasts Grand Tourer. This 1973 E Type Roadster rolled out of the factory in Coventry on 16 February 1973, and began life in Colorado. It was imported into Denmark in 2007, with the last owner purchasing the car in 2011. He had the car for little more than 13 years, and overall it has accumulated a mere 32,500 miles.

This beautiful roadster is presented in its original Green Sand and has never been restored or rebuilt. The engine and transmission are matching numbers, and aside from regular maintenance and a few technical upgrades, the car remains 100% original. A mass of documents, including all American and Danish papers, import documents, sales invoices, service records and brochures are included. It also has the original tool set. This is a truly unique opportunity to get your hands on an original and well preserved E Type V12 roadster.
