Purchased November 18,1976, for $4875.00 from Sears Enterprises Tuscon, Pima, Arizona, with license number SRC-801 by R. Wilkins in Houston, TX, and subsequently sold in January 1977 with 36753 miles to J B Sacks of Houston, TX. Sale price not in my records. I seem to remember that this car ALWAYS had a vacuum leak to trace and fix. Also, and it took an oscilloscope to finally find this problem, the distributor rotor had one of of its hall effect slugs offset far enough to cause a noticeably off cylinder. Replaced the rotor and problem fixed. Other than those two items, a wonderful E-Type OTS.

I purchased UD1S21766 in the United States late 1990's. I exported it to Australia and still own it. I would love to find more on it's previous history.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
