www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-XK-xke-1973-Jaguar-XKE-convertible-west-coast-rust-free- ...
Current bid $10,200, no reserve, 15 bids 4 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
This beautiful jaguar xke convertible has remained in our family since new. it has lived in oregon and california its whole life so it is a stunning west coast rust free Jaguar. The original motor was removed when it had about 20k miles on it and was replaced with a chevy 350 motor. I am sorry to say over the years the original transmission has gone missing in our warehouse and will come with the car if it is found but, it is more than likely gone. We still have the original motor that will come with the jaguar. This is an absolutely stunning and beautiful jaguar that needs nothing. please remember this is an excellent driver not a concurs xke.

This 1973 Jaguar XKE is a Series III roadster finished in Signal Red over beige leather upholstery. It is powered by a 350ci Corvette V8 paired with a Muncie four-speed manual transmission, both of which were installed by a previous owner. The seller acquired the car three years ago and has since driven it approximately 2k miles. Maintenance in 2019 included an interior refresh and installation of an aluminum radiator and upgraded cooling fans. This XKE is now offered with some records and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The seller states that this XKE was repainted Signal Red at some point prior to his ownership. A new soft top was reportedly fitted in 2014, and an accompanying black boot cover.
The seller reportedly replaced the rear brake rotors and pads in 2017, along with the parking brake pads, U-joints, and rear shocks and springs. Jaguar chrome wheels with covers are said to have received new tires in 2014, and the front shocks were also replaced at that time. A spare wheel and jack are present in the trunk compartment.
The seller completed an interior refresh in 2019, which reportedly consisted of installing new red carpets, red shoulder seat belts, refurbishment of some panels and trim items, and re-dying the seats. Wear is visible on the seats.
An aftermarket steering wheel is equipped, along with a white shift knob and aftermarket shift boot for the Muncie four-speed gearbox. A replacement auxiliary temperature gauge is also installed, and the seller states that a stock gauge is included. The odometer is said to show 55,700 miles, approximately 2k of which were added by the seller. Total chassis mileage is unknown.
Originally powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with an automatic transmission, the car is now equipped with a 350ci V8 reportedly transplanted from a Corvette. A 625 cfm Demon ‘street’ carburetor is equipped. Service noted by the seller in 2019 included a fluid change and fitting the aluminum radiator and upgraded cooling fans. The seller states that he installed a higher-geared rear-end in 2017, and a new distributor and exhaust system were reportedly installed in 2014. Some maintenance records come with the car, most of which are from the previous owner.
