Advertised for sale on the website of The Healey Factory, Melbourne, Australia on 2 September 2015. (www.healeyfactory.com.au). Asking price AUD$69,900.
The seller's edited description follows: "1972 JAGUAR E-TYPE COUPE. CHASSIS N0: UC1S73266BW ENGINE NO: 7S68915A.
Having started life in 1972 as a California delivered car, this E-type was shipped back to the British Isles in 1993 for an extensive three year restoration and thorough Right Hand Drive conversion. Whilst there the car was sold to an Australian living and working in the UK, who brought the car to Australia on his return home in 2008. In 2013 the car was again sold. The new owner spent over $7,500 (documented in the car's history file), including replacing all engine hoses, rear suspension work and a full rebuild of the power steering system." The odometer photo seen in the advertisement shows 49,000 miles.
