This 1972 Jaguar XKE 2+2 coupe is powered by its original 5.3-liter V12 paired to a 3-speed automatic. The seller acquired the car three years ago and proceeded to overhaul the suspension, replace the exhaust manifolds, rebuild the carburetors, and recharge the air conditioning system. Finished in correct silver over red leather interior, it has been driven 1,000 miles by the seller since he bought it in 2015. This Series III E-Type V12 is sold with a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate and a clean Florida title in the seller's name.

The exterior is finished in silver and shows signs of patina with a few minor scratches as reported by the seller. Photos in the galley below detail the condition of the paint which received a sand, buff, and wax in January 2018.

15″ chrome wire wheels are fitted with Dunlop tires from 2015. Quad exhaust tips, seen under the license plate, were installed as part of a $1,000 QuickSilver sport exhaust system installed in 2016.

The interior is finished in red Connolly Leather and the 5-digit odometer shows 27,610 miles. The interior is said to be unmodified except for an aftermarket head unit. In 2017, a replacement OEM steering wheel was fitted, and in 2018, the air conditioning system was serviced with new fittings and an R134a recharge. At the same service, the fuel gauge was fixed with a new sending unit and tank float.

Power comes from a 5.3-liter V12 mated to a 3-speed Borg-Warner automatic transmission. The Zenith Stromberg CD 175 carburetors were rebuilt in 2017 and feature air cleaners from XK's Unlimited. Recent receipts in the gallery below show $10k in service which included replacing the exhaust manifolds, a new starter motor, and resealing of the oil cooler.

The 7S 5325 SB stamping confirms it is the original engine as per the chassis plate and the Jaguar Heritage Certificate.

In 2017, the seller reports that the independent rear suspension was rebuilt by Import Specialists of Palm Harbor, Florida. The rear subframe was repainted and fitted with new mounts, u-joints, ring and pinion, bump stop, shocks, bushings, and wishbone bearings. At the same time, the front end received new steering linkages, bushings and Koni front shocks, however new softer Boge shocks are also included in sale.

While at Import Specialists, the front brakes were replaced with new calipers and pads. A new master cylinder was installed as were the flexible brake lines.

Receipts since 2015 detail the services including the carburetor rebuild and upgraded ignition. Several removed parts, including the factory air cleaners, are included in the sale.
