This Jaguar E-Type Series 3 Roadster is an iconic open-top classic British sports car, finished in British Racing Green.
Under the bonnet is a matching-numbers 5.3-litre V12, which delivers 272hp to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual gearbox.
This example was previously owned by a police sheriff in Texas, before being imported to Sweden in 1990. It has been with the same owner since 1991.
It has reportedly been driven for fewer than 1.000 kilometers in the last eight years, and would benefit from a routine service before taking to the road.
The odometer shows 56,262 miles, though this is not warranted.
EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
This E-Type is finished in the classic hue of British Racing Green, with a black convertible roof and a Suede Green leather-trimmed interior.
It rides on a set of 15-inch wire wheels with two-eared hub nuts, wrapped in BF Goodrich Control T/A tyres.
Equipment includes a three-spoke steering wheel, a locking glovebox, heating and ventilation controls, Smiths dials, a Kienzle analogue clock and a JVC stereo.
Accompanying the vehicle will be its owner’s manual and maintenance handbook, and some Swedish road tax receipts dating from 1991 to 1997.
CONDITION
Specific notes from the seller include: it has some minor marks; there are some stone chips in the windscreen.
The most recent technical inspection was reportedly completed in June 2015 at an indicated 55,459 miles.
