2006 Bare Metal Re-Paint, No RUST and No Filler Found
Powerful 5.3L V12 Engine, Open Tourer
Recognized in the Jaguar XK Registry
UC1S20676BW was completed on May 24, 1972 and dispatched on June 15th, destined for the United States through British Leyland Motors, Inc. of New York, finished in elegant Pale Primrose Yellow over complimenting Black leather upholstery. These open-headlight Series III Roadsters are often considered the best driving and most refined models of the entire lineup. Today, this stunningly preserved example shows just over 55,000miles, which are believed to be original. The overall condition reflects that of a well-kept high quality "driver" example.
During the mid-2000's, the E-Type received a sympathetic light restoration including a bare metal re-paint. There was no rust and no filler found and the gaps are very straight throughout. The exterior's paintwork and chrome displays bright and clear - showing only a few minor blemishes from use and cabin's seating/carpeting presents nearly as new along with the untorn black top and boot cover. Being an early Series III, this car is fitted with the very desirable slim chrome bumpers, and lack the large rubber bumperettes which beset the later examples. Complementing the overall factory appearance is an original British Leyland AM/FM radio mounted in the factory dash and console with original period air conditioning unit. Bright chrome wire wheels and redline tires complete the look, including a matching spare.
All identification stickers remain adhered to the car's body/engine bay and importantly all spot welds are visible, attesting to the car's solid and honest body. Additionally, the car's underside remains very tidy and intact, including spotless original pans under the carpeting. Both the engine bay and luggage compartment show exceptionally well with factory applied Primrose paint, jack in pouch, spanner wrench and lead hammer.
Besides its good looks, this E-Type is an absolute joy to drive and is among the best SIII's we have ever offered. All electrical components, gauges, switches, lights, radio, wiper, horn, are in proper working order. Accompanying the Roadster is a correct Operating, Maintenance and Service Handbook with respective maintenance chart, The Complete Official Jaguar "E" book, V12 Repair Operation Manual and CD.

1972 Jaguar E-Type Series 3 Roadster
5.3L, Automatic
Engine 5.3L
Trans Automatic
Color Yellow
Interior Black
VIN/Serial UC1S20676BW
This 1972 E-Type has the esteemed 5.3L V-12 with automatic transmission, and shows only 55,760 believed-original miles on the odometer. Completed on May 24, 1972, the car was sprayed Primrose Yellow with a Black leather interior. An early Series 3 car, it features the slim chrome bumpers rather than the rubber bumperettes adorning later cars. A respectful light restoration was completed in the early part of the New Millennium including a bare metal re-spray in the original color. No rust or body filler was found, and all the spot welds are visible, as well as the identification stickers affixed to the body and engine bay, attesting to a solid, unscathed car. The interior is well presented with little wear exhibited from the leather or carpets, door panels or top. Even the top boot is in great shape. The jack, spanner wrench, and lead hammer are in the pouch, and the electrical components including the original British Leyland AM/FM radio and factory air conditioning unit are functional. Rounding out the pedigree of this car is the Jaguar XK Registry recognition, Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate and a sweet overall patina reflecting the care and admiration it has received over the years.

This beautiful 1972 Jaguar E-Type Series III V12 Roadster completed production at the Browns Lane Coventry factory on May 24, 1972 and was then dispatched on June 15 1972 to British Leyland Motors INC of New York. According to the British Heritage Certificate, this 72 E-Type Roadster left the factory in Pale Primrose Yellow over Black leather interior and was matted to V12 engine numbered 7S6295SA which is still in the car today. The lovely Roadster has lived a well maintained life and has recently undergone a full bare metal respray a few years ago with no rust or filler found anywhere in the body. All body gaps are excellent and the whole car has a great fit. Other than a couple small stone chips in the front and one small hairline crack in the passenger door edge, the paint shows beautifully. The leather interior is in outstanding condition showing minimal wear and very light creasing. The carpets appear to be original and in excellent condition. The dash and center console are in excellent condition and do not show any damage or wear. The convertible vinyl top is in excellent condition and does not show any wear, fade or damage. The engine has been maintained since day one and starts right up. It idles smoothly and does not smoke on start up or acceleration. The engine has a beautiful deep note to it and once shifted into gear has a glorious growl to it under acceleration. The transmission shifts into gear without any issues and shifts through all of the gears without any hesitation. The suspension feels nice and tight and free from any noises and the steering is nice and tight free from any wondering or play. The brakes are solid and free from any fade or grinding. All of the electrical appear to be operating and functioning as designed including all of the exterior and interior lights, turn signals and brake lights, reverse lights, headlights and side marker lights. All of the dash lights and gauges are operating including the temp gauge and original radio. The fans kick on at the right time and the car runs and normal temps. Accompanying the sale of this Jaguar is the original convertible top boot, the knock off tool for the wire wheels, the spare and an original owner's handbook. There is no rust to be found anywhere on the car and the undercarriage is clean and tidy. There are no signs of bondo or any damage repair on the car. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire a beautiful running and driving matching numbers V12 E-Type that is rust free.
