Advertised for sale on carsales.com.au 30 August 2023, asking AU$320,000. The car is in Sydney, Australia. The seller’s description (edited) follows:
This matching numbers V12 roadster has covered less than 500 miles since fastidious, no-expense spared restoration and is in showroom condition. Genuine 46,000 mile Arizona car that has never been rust affected. Extensive photo record of its bare-metal rebuild is available.
Many new parts, including windscreen, lights, bright work, BAS interior, dash top, fascia panels, radio, electric aerial and other electrical items. The instruments were refurbished and calibrated. Original soft top in excellent condition. New BAS mohair top included in sale.
Engine fully rebuilt with machining by Advanced Performance Machining in Sydney. Pistons ceramic coated by HPC in Melbourne. All ancillaries are either new or reconditioned. New radiator, header tank, hoses high torque starter and Pertronix ignition. Reconditioned water pump and alternator, new fuel pump and fuel lines and reconditioned fuel tank.
New Borg and Beck clutch fitted. New clutch master and slave cylinders.
New stainless steel Bell exhaust system and ceramic coated exhaust manifolds.
Brand new upgraded steering rack from the UK fitted during the conversion.
Brake system was totally overhauled including brake booster, master cylinder and calipers.
Front suspension was fully rebuilt. Rear suspension was dismantled showing very little wear.
Subtle changes made during the rebuild, include removal of some bright work and a de-cluttering of the engine fuel lines and breathing system. This E-type looks and drives superbly.
