Sellers description:
1971 Jaguar EType Coupe...not 2+2...This is the much more desireable Coupe with manual transmission..The car looks rough in the pictures but it is an excellent candidate for restoration as the floors and rocker panels have already been replaced...The boot floor has a little rust in it but it is not bad at all......The car has had new door skins put on and final adjustment will be necessary......The hood of the car is solid...in good shape where it hinges are......overall the body is solid and does not need any major rust repair... The car was driven into a garage 10 years ago .....When we got the car out we put a battery into it.....cleaned the points on the fuel pump ..put fresh gas into it ...changed the oil and the car started up with no problem....it has perfect oil pressure and the only leak that is out of the car is from the power steering...I cannot tell if it is the pump or a hose...The brakes are fully functional and I have driven the car around the block.

The car will need interior work..The seats need to be reupolstered and the car needs carpets etc...the headliner however is in good condition and is not sagging....I have the door handles and the door window frames along with all the glass.....lights etc.....There may be some minor pieces missing but overall the car is pretty complete...The drivers seat although it is not pictured is with the car....I have not had time to go to pick it up yet......Electrically the car will need sorting out after the car is painted and all the lights etc have been refitted to the car..
