We are pleased to offer this very clean and well maintained Jaguar XKE Coupe. This Jaguar has the 4.2 litre 6 cylinder engine connected to a 4-speed manual transmission. This Jaguar has recently been restored to a very good driver standard. The paint shows really well, the interior is mostly original except for the seats, they were recovered as factory in blue leather.
This Jaguar has been restored to driver standard. The Jaguar was stripped down, windows removed as well as all chrome. All interior was removed and front seats were recovered, and various small trim pieces were replaced. When car was being prepared, Jaguar was inspected for rust and any signs of accidents or bondo. There was no indication of any accidents or rust. The Jaguar was then repainted the original dark blue, The interior was the replaced, all windows chrome and interior were then refitted.
The mechanics on this Jaguar are in good condition, the rear end was rebuilt with a 288 limited slip changing from a 354 for better cruising, the carbs were replaced with 2in SUs and the A/C, power brakes and power steering were serviced. All brakes are new. The Jaguar has a new custom exhaust system, wheels were replaced and new tires fitted. All door rubbers were also replaced. The steering wheel was also replaced using a 14in wooden steering wheel.
This is a excellent driving and looking Jaguar XKE that will continue to appreciate, someone is going to get a car that nothing other than a driver.
