Ebay item 10/4/19
www.ebay.com/itm/1970-Jaguar-E-Type/174052203777
Opening bid US $18,000, no bids no reserve, 2 days left in auction, seller donnieox, 29k miles.
Seller's description:
1970 Jaguar XKE 2+2. Automatic transmission. Car came out of a long term inside storage. I set about to re commision and have done the following. New battery, tires and tubes, new fuel tank and filters. Oil changed with new filter. rebuilt the carbs, new igntion componets. Spark plugs and wires, new dist. cap with points and condensor. New stainless front brake hoses installed. Car was in the process of being restored when it was put away. A new exhaust and some rubber goods had been replaced. The car had been re painted and looks okay after I lightly buffed it. It could look better with some more effort. There was some minor quarter panel rust repair done before being painted and looks good. It runs and drives well but would caution one to not make a long trip due to the original looking hoses and belts. The front seats are pretty much toast and need new covers. The back jump seat and rest of inside is original and okay. Headliner is kinda stained but still intact. I have the front and back glass mouldings as well as a box of assorted other goodies. No reserve auction as I've started the car at very reasonable point in order to sell it.
