Ebay item 7/13/19

www.ebay.com/itm/1970-Jaguar-XK-II/223584055266

Car has a classified ad price of $34,900, seller specialtysalesclassics. Complete VIN on this car is J71P1R43208BW

Seller's description:

This 1970 Jaguar XKE II 2 Plus 2 2 Door is new to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive 1970 Jaguar XKE II 2 Plus 2 2 Door Coupe with British Racing Green exterior paint and a tan leather interior. This beautiful classic has a factory 4.2L straight-six engine under the hood with the numbers-matching automatic transmission and this one is nicely equipped with power front disc brakes, air conditioning, factory chrome wire wheels and so much more. This highly original example has a mere 110,136 lifetime miles on the odometer and it is in nice driver quality overall.

Bay Area Classic Owned by Same Family Since New

This 1970 Jaguar XKE II 2+2 Coupe has a great lifetime story as well as decades of excellent documentation since it’s been with the same family in the Bay Area since new. For example, we know that both the factory engine and transmission were rebuilt back in September of 1986 and driven only 12,000 miles since that time. We also know this classic received a respray in the factory correct British Racing Green in 1980 and that it has been garaged its entire life. There are also decades of receipts on file to show this example was kept at the highest possible standards by two generations of the same family- it passed from father to son in 2011.

While this 1970 Jaguar XKE II Coupe is a driver-quality classic, it shows below average signs of wear for a true survivor that’s been lovingly card for- there are a few minor dents and scratches across the otherwise sensational body. The original chrome with matching chrome wire wheels are in very good shape as well with a light patina, while the factory leather interior shows average wear. Additionally, this 1970 Jaguar XKE II Coupe has outstanding performance and excellent handling- it drives like a much newer classic and shows beautifully in person.

Excellent Documentation w/ 110,136 Lifetime Miles

Overall, this 1970 Jaguar XKE II 2 Plus 2 Coupe is a phenomenal original classic with fantastic provenance and a great lifetime story. Examples of this caliber rarely surface on the open market in this price range and this one simply won’t last- come see it for yourself today before it’s back off the market forever.

The information presented for this vehicle is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed as a basis of purchase.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
