1969 E Type 2+2 Automatic left hand drive. Imported from the United States as a good solid basis for a full restoration which has now been performed. This car has been extensively restored and all corrosion issues cut and dealt with including new inner and outer sills being fitted. Masses of bills totalling over £90,000 including labour come with the car. There are extensive photographs of the work undertaken. The car has been freshly painted and is now resplendant in its original colour of Carmen Red. The interior is brand new with tan hides and headlining all beautifully executed.
The engine has been fully gone through as evidenced by the extensive bills from SNG Barnett for the parts to rebuild it. New wire wheels with knock off spinners have been fitted and it is shod with new tyres. Under the bonnet an immaculate engine bay shows everything new and in its appointed place. Indicated mileage is 33,539 miles. The braking system has been replaced in its entirety. The only remaining job to be done is to fit the chrome surround to the rear window.
The car drives beautifully with all the right noises from the 6 cylinder twin cam engine and quick changes from the automatic gearbox. The car is a credit to the ex motor trade engineer who has made this car perfect over several years.
