Ebay item 6/17/08
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $1,850, 2 bids, 8 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
This vehicle has been in inside storage for several years with
the previous owner which purchased it 15 plus years ago, the front end was used for his roadster project. Previous owner has stated that the engine ran when he purchased it and has not been ran since. The oil is clean, engine
turns over freely, however there is not a spark to the plugs. I assume this is a matter of getting the wiring correct. We have decided to part with the car due to our lack of experience with this type of car and lack of time to work on it. We aquired the car in a local auction approximatley one month ago.

Vehicle Condition: Overall the car is complete and in good condition, Car has minimal rust for a 69, small spots in passenger door, behind wheelwells.
FLoor pans have had some repair, and have some rust through. Paint is mostly intact, some repaint has been done on the passenger side i assume due to color fade, i can find no evidence of body repair.

Glass is complete and in good used condition, no cracks chips or major damage. Drivers side door glass has light scraches from weatherstriping. Trim and weatherstriping are in reasonable condition and mostly complete, missing rear window trim. All chrome has some wear and light pitting or sun damage. otherwise, straight.

Interior: Leather front seats are in great condition, No visable tears or seperations. Soft and complete. Seats adjust but need to be worked on to align properly. Rear
seat is also in good condition with no visable tears or damage, but has sun wear and need cleaning. Headliner is intact but very dirty. Door panels have seperated
at the door handles, otherwise in reasonable condition. Console is in fair condition along with shifter and brake. Original floor mats are in fair to poor condition, Seat
belts are intact. Dash Gauges are in excellent condition and appear complete and original. Dash is in fair to good condition overall. Steering wheel Center is nice however the outer ring wood has deteriated. some wiring and components are missing
or incomplete.

Engine: Complete minus radiator and some wiring, All original components are there Lucas components, Stromberb Carbs, One carb has a slight crack in the housing, I dont believe it would effect operating order. Engine does not have any visable
cracks or other damage, Engine oil is clean, no water or other visable foreign material. As stated we do not know for sure the engine operating condition, but it is my opinion that this car will run, Previous owner is a very honest fellow and i believe what he
told me. However this car is being sold 'AS IS'.

Tubular Frame. this car does have a tube that neads repair in the very fron section, easily accessed for removal, replacement or repair. Appears to be towing damage.

Wheels and Tires: Wheels are in fair condition, Chrome in places is beginning to separate and rust, caps are fair, Tires appear excellant but has been stored a long period. Brakes work but would need maintenance.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
