UK Supplied from new and first registered January 1971 this series 2 model with its 4.2 litre, 6 cylinder engine and automatic gearbox has been owned by the current keeper for over 20 years. During his ownership the car was taken off the road in 2014 and stripped back to a bare shell before being restored by an E-Type specialists here in the North-East. Work included a full body respray in its original Old English white colour, powdercoated suspension and other components as well as engine out rebuild with new pistons, oil pump, valves, timing chains and bearings. Reconditioned gearbox, rebuilt power steering, re-trimmed interior in black leather with matching webasto roof (believed to have been optioned from new)
A stunning example restored to a very high standard, sold with a large history file detailing the spend during the restoration totalling tens of thousands of pounds as well as USB memory stick with hundreds of photos of the car before, during and after restoration.
Showing 71,000 miles and although exempt, still carrying and MOT till March next year.
