Current bid: $30,100 reserve not met 5 bids, 6 days left in auction, seller coolcatz2, 38k miles.
Sellers description:
1969 Jaguar E-Type Fixed Head Coupe. The car is straight, does not show any signs of previous accidents and wears the very conservative paint color "Sable" which was repainted in the past with the same original color and in excellent condition. All the body panel gaps are perfect and the bonnet, doors and rear boot hatch close easily. The car is for the most part very original right down to the Cheney clamps and red emissions stickers on the carburetors, spark plug wire caps, and all emissions equipment. The matching number engine starts easily and runs well and is coupled to a 4 speed transmission that shifts well without any gear noise and also has power steering and A/C. The biscuit colored leather seats, sills, door panels and console covers were purchased some 10 years ago from a well respected interior trim shop G.W.Bartlett which the reupholstered seats have hardly been sat in and without any flaws with the balance being original along with the original Wilton wool carpets which are presentable. The wire wheels and tires are also original and in fair condition. The exhaust system appears to have been replaced. This is a very presentable driver needing some small work for the new owner as any car of this vintage most certainly would.

Current bid: $20,300 reserve not met 5 bids 6 days left in auction, seller 123foxfarm, Denver, Colorado, 48k miles.
Seller's description:
Fabulously well sorted and turn-key Jaguar Series II FHC recommissioned as a high-end dependable driver. This numbers matching Jag presents as almost flawless with solid magnet-tested body and glossy blemish-free paint in conservative Sable over Beige leather interior. Chrome is excellent, with new front bumpers and overriders—rest of the chrome is clean throughout. It boasts a perfect bonnet, front cowling, side and quarter panels and rear hatch. All new rubber trim in doors, windshield and hatchback. Every mechanical system has been gone through, including new fuel tank, rebuilt carburetors, gear reduction starter, alternator, Petronix electronic ignition, brakes all around, new Bell stainless exhaust, all wrapped in Coker redlines from England. New SNG Barratt aluminum radiator from England keeps this Cat running cool, whether in 90 degree traffic or tearing around CO’s winding canyons. Clean original coated undercarriage with limited floorpan corrosion addressed. The interior is almost perfect with newer Barratt leather front seats and console, Wilton carpet, dash cover, and an amazingly clean original headliner. The vinyl rear compartment is original condition. A correct date-coded Blaupunkt Frankfurt with chrome bezel was sourced and plays loud and clear. A recent valve job has the Jag cruising at full compression. This car was refreshed without selling in mind—the buyer will benefit by thousands invested, with all receipts available for viewing and indicating a substantial loss. But hey, as you Brit car enthusiasts know, that’s what you’re signing up for with any E-type, it’s a process! But my mission has been to bullet proof this driver, and amortize the investment by enjoying hours of stylish, exhilarating care-free driving.

This 1970 Jaguar XKE is a Series II coupe that is finished in Sable over beige leather and powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 15″ wire wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, a PerTronix ignition system, a stainless-steel exhaust system, an aluminum radiator, Smiths instrumentation, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM push-button stereo. The car was distributed through New York and is said to have had long-term registration in Texas, where it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2023. This Series II coupe is now offered at no reserve with service records, accessories, a service handbook, a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, and a Texas title.
The body was finished from the factory in Sable and was reportedly repainted under previous ownership. Details include chrome trim on the bumpers, window surrounds, and light surrounds, and additional equipment includes a louvered clamshell hood, polished exhaust outlets, pop-out rear windows, and a driver-side mirror.
The 15″ wire-spoke wheels wear 185-series red-line Coker Classic tires. A spare is mounted in the trunk. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs featuring inboard-mounted rear units.
The interior is trimmed in beige leather with color-coordinated carpets and door panels and joined by a black dashboard. Amenities include a heater, an analog clock, a locking glove compartment, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM push-button stereo. The carpeting and dashboard covering are said to have been replaced under previous ownership.
The wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 40k miles, and the total mileage is unknown.
The 4.2-liter inline-six features dual overhead camshafts and is equipped with twin Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and an aftermarket aluminum radiator. In 2019, Kats British Car of Englewood, Colorado, reportedly rebuilt the cylinder head, installed a PerTronix ignition system, and replaced the engine mounts, hoses, clamps, and exhaust system. An oil change was performed in anticipation of the sale.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
The Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate indicates an October 21, 1969, date of manufacture, the factory color scheme, and delivery to New York as well as the chassis, body, and drivetrain serial numbers. Service records, accessories, and a service handbook are also included in the sale.
The current Texas title shows “Mileage exceeds mechanical limits” in the remarks section.
