Car was at auction 8/15
www.historics.co.uk/buying/auctions/2015-08-29/cars/ref-62-1969-jaguar-e-type-se ...

Auction description:
Lot 263 - 1969 Jaguar E-Type Series II Roadster (4.2 litre)
Registration RVP 194G
Chassis Number P1R10625
Odometer reading 30,519
Estimate £32,000 - £38,000
Hammer Sold - £39,200

We are pleased to offer this 1969 example today that was first supplied to British Leyland, New York in October 1969. Referring to the Jaguar Heritage Certificate, it can be seen that the car was supplied to New York with an exterior finish of silver with red interior trim. Repatriated back into the UK in 1990, RVP 194G has undergone some restoration that has included a conversion to right hand drive and a refinish in Jaguar black with matching black leather. A new bonnet, a common E-Type weak point, has also been fitted and reassuringly, the engine has recently been fully rebuilt. A further improvement includes new leather seats that certainly make the interior inviting. This 4.2 litre all synchromesh E-Type Roadster is UK registered and has an MoT test certificate valid until 30th July 2016. Offering excellent value in today's buoyant market, this Roadster is ready to enjoy open top motoring immediately.

For sale at Arun Jaguar and Specialist Car Sales of Pulborough. This series 2 was supplied to British Leyland New York in October 1969. As a rust free example RVP194G was chosen and repatriated back into the UK in 1990 and has subsequently undergone a comprehensive restoration. In addition the engine has recently been detailed and fully rebuilt which is demonstrated by the oil pressure and exquisite presentation. The under bonnet detail is impeccable, it needs to be seen and is something that cannot be achieved without great expense to which the previous keeper has obviously gone to. The car is as crisp too drive as she looks and with the recent work which has included an induction kit, the sound is superb. Further improvements include a refreshed interior with refurbished leather seats and a recent replacement hood. This roadster is ready to enjoy open top motoring immediately. 30,500 miles. £79,995.
