Ebay item 7/14
www.coys.co.uk/auction.php

Auction description:
Lot 357 - 1969 Jaguar E Type Series II 4.2 Roadster
Estimate: £40,000 - £50,000
Registration Number: EU taxes paid
Chassis Number: P1R10496

This lovely example is presented in traditional Jaguar British Racing Green and has recently undergone a restoration which included a new interior in tan hide, paintwork and a triple SU Carburettor conversion. This was originally a Californian car and with its 4.2 engine and manual gearbox, these models were produced as pure drivers cars with swift open top motoring high on the agenda. Much sought after now, these models are constantly achieving high prices and we expect the same from this one.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
