Circa 1957 factory experimental car. Predecessor to E2A and successor to the D-type. A video and some discussion of the car is on the Jag Lovers web site:

E1A. Your table has nil info. Various books state its scrapping. Some years ago it was claimed that some of the body bits, or a part of the body, had been found; and then that an effort was being made to put a recreation together based on this.

A feature in Jaguar Quarterly Vol4 No1 concerns the discovery of three pieces of E1A in a scrap yard in Coventry (1991?) The remains are of the complete rear bulkhead and part of the right rear guard and deck. The colour is Pastel Green. I found the magazine recently and was unaware any remains of this exciting car existed.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
