Ebay item 4/2/07
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-64-JAGUAR-E-TYPE_W0QQitemZ150108260396
Opening bid $5,500 reserve not met, no bids yet, 9 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
Very late (Oct 64) E –Type coupe. Originally black with a red interior, this is one of the last 3.8 cars built, and is titled as a 65.
As you can see, most of the floor has been removed, but just about all the Martin Roby panels are included to repair it.
The cylinder head has been off, but the engine is free and turns over by hand.
Missing parts include the front valance, turn indicator switch housing, and heater box and core, (although the heater motor and blower are there).
The last owner told me he drove it into the garage before he started the restoration.
Car has a clear Colorado title that matches the ID plate and serial number stamped on the frame.
I included some extra parts left over from my 62 coupe to make the car more complete.
