My Mom bought #890650 new in 1964. Since my Dad passed away, she has been selling a lot of assets to become as liquid as possible. She's had the itch to sell this car for about three years, but I convinced her to keep it. Just lately, that itch started again, so I manged to buy it from her. It needs work, but is an okay driver as is. Zero rust, no accidents and mostly original at 124,000 miles. It was repainted snow white and has black vinyl upholstery. After I get the mechanical situation under control, I'll work on the cosmetics. It will again be Carmen red with beige leather, vinyl and hardura.

Original owners, Mother to Son. The picture of my Mom must be from before 1965 because she is on her way to church wearing a veil, which she stopped doing after Vatican II. California car all its life. Heritage Certificate included. No rust or accidents ever. Excellent gaps. All numbers matching. 300 miles on complete comprehensive rebuild. All important receipts included. Rebuilt engine bored +.040 over, Carillo rods, ARP hardware, lightened flywheel, performance crankshaft damper, big valve conversion by XK's Unlimited with new cams to suit. Team CJ headers, 1-2-3 electronic ignition, Coolcat alloy radiator and fan, Team CJ alloy header tank, Carbs have ram pipes, but original air cleaner is included, 5-speed Tremec transmission, Moss transmission included, high torque starter, straight through exhaust, but Wife says not loud, Wilwood brakes with drilled & slotted rotors, quick ratio rack and pinion, Suspension completely renewed with new springs and uprated torsion bars, uprated sway bars front and rear, quick camber adjust swivel pins, Koni shocks all around, Team CJ bronze bushings on IRS, new wiring harness from Team CJ, remains + ground, vintage Blaupunkt radio, all intruments work including the clock, new BAS Jaguar leather interior, complete and original tool kit, original owners manual and packet, 5 Dayton tubeless wire wheels shod with new Michelin XVS tires,
The Negatives: 134K miles (but everything is new or rebuilt), Has rear main seal lip conversion, but still seems to leak a little. Driver/Cars-n-Coffee/Local show quality paint.
