Sellers comment:
This 1964 Jaguar FHC is an older restoration done in 1985 without any hesitation on cost. Extensive restoration records provide documentation of this quality restoration. We are aware of over $26,000 was invested in this beatiful Jaguar back in 1985. This vehicle has been in carefully maintained storage ever since. Local Doctor owned this vehicle and demanded only pefection in restoration of this fine classic vehicle.

We believe the mileage shown is true and is subject to your verification. All reciepts, condition and discussion with the prior owner supports our belief the mileage is correct - however - we offer no warranties on mileage and condition.

The vehicle runs very strong - no smoke - and is very tight. Fit and finish is extremely nice.

It would appear about most aspects of this vehicle has been overhauled including engine and transmission.

To drive this vehicle is absolutely a trip back in time. A new 1964 Jaguar FHC!

This vehcile can be viewed on an appointment only basis. We have facilities whereby it can be inspected inside and out and underneath. You will not be disappointed.

This is a chance of a lifetime to own a mint classic Jaguar for substantially low cost. We believe this car is worth over $50,000. We will consider selling for much less. If you are looking for an investment grade Jaguar - this is it!

Sellers description:
This old cat was previously owned by an older, extremely picky and demanding Dentist who spared no cost in keeping this beautiful example of British superior design and mechanical masterpiece in top notch condition. It is my understanding that I am the 3rd owner of this car. The Dentist I bought it off still is active, still very picky and would be able to discuss the history on this beautiful Jaguar. I have had the honour of owning this Jaguar XKE since 1998. This car has spent it entire life garaged and well taken care of. Since I have owned this car, it has been exercised on a quarterly basis, the leather interior has been cared for and the car has ben stored in a heated collector car building under a cover. No mice or other varmits.

This Jaguar XKE has been thoroughly re-done over the years to include paint, interior and mechanical. Everything on this beautiful Jaguar XKE is in superior shape except exhaust system. The exhaust system is intact and functions normally, but could probably use a stainless steel pipe refitting.

There is no corrosion, no rust, no nicks, no dents, no scratches, no blisters, no blemishes, no nothing. All seals are in good shape, leather interior is in near perfect condition, all chrome is near perfect, everything just looks in super condition. The red interior simply jumps out to you as it is rich, bright, with no tears or cracks or noticeable use at all. The black paint is in superior condition.

The engine compartment also jumps out and shows it claws when the bonnet is opened. The aluminum covers and accessories are all polished. The headers porcelain is in good shape along with all new brass nuts. All hoses and belts are in fine condition. The radiator system shows no corrosion or paint blisters.

Brakes feel brand new and clutch is super tight with no play or grabbing or slipping. The transmission shifts super smooth and feels great. Remember, this old lady did not have synchro fist gear - so feels sort of like a truck - but that was they way it was back in 1964 for these cars. All gears shift super smooth with no whining or loose gear noise.

The engine starts right up - idles like a sewing machine and is extremely powerful and throaty. No knocking or timing chain clatter - everything sounds very tight. All electrical systems seem to work just fine. All glass is nice and clear with no fogging at all. Tires are Coker specials with the BF Goodrich stamp in classic whitewalls. I was told this car was originally delivered with wide white walls on it.

We drove this beautiful Cat down the road very carefully on a toasty warm Sunday morning and experienced a time warp. It drive fantastic, straight, tight and as intended by the fine British Jaguar people intended back in 1964. This is simply a fantastic example of a Jaguar XKE. While I owned an airport, we exercised this cat, along with numerous other virgin classic cars, up and down our runway very carefully to insure that all systems got delicately worked. Storing a fine automobile such as this - with no exercise is simply not a good practice. Bottom line, this Jaguar XKE drives, runs, rides, feels, and sounds exceptional in every aspect.

Rhe car has tools, jack, hammer, grease gun, service manual and some other original extras. Other extras include a pair of matching red driving gloves and a battery disconnect.
