Ebay item 12/28/06
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-1964-Jagaur-Series-1-XKE-coupe-895-shippin ...
Current bid $14,500 reserve not met, 10 bids, 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
Factory 4-speed gearbox. Original engine, with all matching numbers. The previous owner had this vehicle for over 20 years and used it as their weekend driver. The car was restored 15 years ago and still has a very good look to it! Most of the chrome on the car is in excellent condition, including the chrome wire wheels. The paint is not perfect, however, shows really well. The car has a very nice engine compartment, which is all correct and original. The car runs and drives extremely well. It has a very good clutch and good brakes as well. Very nice steering. This model is the early 3.8 liter and therefore, it also has the non-synchronized gearbox. All the 3.8 cars were fitted with this, so there is some noise in first gear (very typical). All the glass is good. The car has perfect frame rails on the front. It does not show any signs of accidents. The interior on the car shows really well with good door panels too. The seats are correct for the early 3.8 model. These seats are in leather, which have a very nice patina to them. We have only owned four early Jaguar Coupes this year and this is the best so far. Jaguar E-Types such as this one, are really getting hard to locate so here is an excellent chance to purchase such an honest Jaguar.

Car has a buy it now price of $119,000 for 2 days, seller collectiblemotorcarofatlanta, car now said to be in Marietta, Georgia, previously Costa Mesa, CA
Seller's description:
1964 Jaguar XKE
Exterior Color: Iron Gray
Interior Color: Tan
Mileage: 9,999
Collectible Motor Car of Atlanta is proud to present this very unique 1964 Jaguar XKE Series 1 Fixed Head Coupe. This well-sorted, rust-free Jaguar was originally delivered to California as a California spec car. The original owner purchased the car new in California and took it home to Arizona where it lived its life till August 2016, where it was then brought to Atlanta. The XKE has been completely sorted by Jaguar specialist Richard Wells. Mr. Wells is well-known in the Jaguar community as he has restored many high-end versions going to auction as he is well-respected for his meticulous attention to detail.
This Drop Head Coupe is finished with an Iron Gray wrap along with nostalgic race heritage decals - but- the wrap can be easily removed to expose a gorgeous Carmen Red paint. The interior boasts a very well-sorted Tan leather that is just stunning. The wire wheels are long-gone being replaced with new solid (steel) wheels and tires for that race-inspired finish. The 3.8 six-cylinder engine has been completely rebuilt, along with the 4-speed manual transmission, fuel system (carb's, etc.), new shock absorbers, and complete suspension. The electricals have been completely gone through and everything works as it should. British classics of this vintage have skyrocketed in value and this unique Jaguar XKE Series 1 is no exception. Enjoy this XKE as a solid driver or arrive at the Put-in-Bay Sports Car Races in classic British style.
