    Car listed as sold at:
    classicinvest.com/inventory/20-jaguar-xke

    Sellers description:
    1964 Jaguar XKE
    * color: Black / Black
    * mileage: 32,856
    * engine: 3.8 Litre
    * price: $29,500

    One owner 32,856 miles.Comes with "original paint" still. In fact this car is 100% original. Even the hoses are original.Most definetly the most original 3.8 XKE coupe we have ever had to offer in 18yrs of business. Will need major service to put on road. We have run engine briefly and checked lower berrings.They look new!
    Our idea for new owner is to save as much originality as possible. We recommend to just paint exterior of car and restore chrome and seals only. The car comes in its full original attire. Leather is supple! Very rare engine bay condition: See photos of original hose clamps and decals along with factory chaulk marks! This xke is exactly how they made them right down to the stiching on the welting of the carpet!

    The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

    What disease did Lucas succumb to?
