Current bid $36,300, no reserve, 22 bids 7 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
Black Beauty. This is a great looking car, at NO RESERVE so please bid to win. This is one of the worlds most beautiful and elegant cars. This car is owned by an older man that had two of these cars, his other car that was not as nice just sold for $56.000. This car is real nice, it was restored in 1991. They did a ground up restore on it. This car has an awesome color combo, people have said the color combo on this jag is great. The paint is showing its age because they used lacquer paint it has check cracks in it. The back glass in the hatch has some scratches in it. The body is real solid, and the underside is solid with no rust. This car runs great and very strong, the 4.2 motor was rebuilt, and the car got new clutch and new brakes with silicon brake fluid. It runs and drives great. The interior is in great shape. The chrome on the car looks real nice. The oil pressure is holding great and the temp is right on the money, and it is charging great also. That's about all I know about the car. Every were I drove the car people took its photos, it seems to draw a good crowd when I park it.

For sale at Auction - selling 4/12/2017
bringatrailer.com/listing/1964-jaguar-xke-coupe/
Lot #3821
Seller: helot
Location: Dallas, Texas 75204
Chassis: 890292
32,536 Miles, TMU
4.2-Liter Twin Cam Inline-Six
4-Speed Manual Gearbox
Older Restoration
Triple SU Carbs
ANSA Exhaust
Minilite-Style Wheels
Recent Oil Change
Private Party or Dealer: Private Party
Description from above listing, car now said to be in Dallas, Texas, 32k miles:
This 1964 Jaguar XKE coupe is a Series I example that is powered by a 4.2-liter twin cam inline-six in place of the original 3.8-liter unit. The engine is paired to a 4-speed manual gearbox and has been fitted with triple SU carburetors and an ANSA exhaust. A restoration was performed by the previous owner in 1991, and the seller acquired the car through a dealer in 2014. It has been driven 1,500 miles since, and the oil was last changed in January 2017. Noted issues include a small leak at the oil filler cap, an intermittent leak at the coolant reservoir, a non-functioning horn button and handbrake, and various exterior blemishes. This E-Type is sold with a clean Texas title in the seller's name.
Exterior flaws in the finish include a few spots of orange peel on the hood and some rippling just aft of the passenger door. 15″ Minilite-style wheels with knockoff centers have been installed and are wrapped with 205/70 R15 BF Goodrich Touring TA tires. Surface corrosion is visible on the chrome centers. The headlight covers are clear, though some scratching is noted on the front and rear glass.
The red leather interior has a stock appearance, with light creasing visible on the seats. An aftermarket radio and shift knob have been installed. The horn is not wired at present and the handbrake is not operational. 32k miles are shown on the odometer, though true mileage is unknown. The 4.2-liter inline-six is believed to have been sourced from a contemporary XJ and is mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox. Triple SU carburetors have been installed along with an ANSA exhaust. The seller believes the car had been sitting for a few years when he acquired it, but notes that it performs more reliably after nitrophyl carburetor floats were installed and the engine run with regular changes of Brad Penn oil. The seller drives it weekly and recently changed the oil. A small leak at oil filler cap is noted along with occasional leaking from the coolant reservoir when warm.
The car is equipped with Girling shocks, and the seller notes that the ride is comfortable with about 25% brake pad life remaining. The handbrake is currently non-functional. The data plate shows a six-digit production number corresponding to a 1964 3.8-liter model.

Ad put on Ebay, but quickly removed, seller pixelphotolab, location Dallas, Texas :
www.ebay.com/itm/272646512554
Seller's description :
Up for sale at no reserve is my 1964 Jaguar E-Type that I purchased three years ago here on eBay. I have a different vehicle coming in soon, so I am selling this to free up some space. It is a non-matching numbers car (4.2L engine is from a late 60's Jaguar). I drive it usually around 5 miles every weekend or two, furthest trip I've taken in it was about 50 miles. It's not perfect but it's a nice driver to take around town and not worry about the paint too much.
I believe a lot of the restoration work done on the vehicle was completed in the early 90s. Before me, it was owned by someone in Ohio. The body has had some work done (not since my ownership), so there are some defects in the paint/body from that. I'm not aware of any rust. Transmission works great and is from a 3.8 car. ANSA exhaust sounds nice. Handbrake does not work, feels normal when lifting it but doesn't do anything. There is no horn installed, but the horn button works and I believe the wiring might be in place. There is a pinhole leak in the radiator reservoir tank that is only noticable on very hot days, it usually only lasts about 30 seconds when parked until the engine bay cools down, it just leaves a few drops on the ground and doesn't happen at all in the winter here. The engine performs smoothly. All the lights and gauges work. I perform oil changes regularly myself.
Period correct wheels are a bit wider than the original wires and are the only set of wheels I have. You could put wire wheels back on if you prefer a more traditional look, but I feel the current ones make it stand out a bit more.
It was for sale at another auction site a few weeks ago, but the high bidder did not have the funds. Please have funds ready by the time the auction ends. Send me a message if you have any questions or need anymore photos of anything. I prefer to keep it in the US but will work with you to transport it elsewhere and it will be garaged until it gets picked up.

Year: 1964
Located in: Netherlands
Mileage: 32570 mi
Dutch registration
Condition: 4 - In fine condition, drivable condition, may require mechanic and cosmetic work
Colour: Black
In a great roadworthy condition with a valid Dutch Periodic Vehicle Inspection. The colour combination black with red leather interior makes the Jaguar very popular.
This E-type Fixed Head Coupé is equipped with the 4235 cc 6 cylinder engine, 3 carburettors and 4-speed manual gearbox.
A real driver’s car suitable for many trips or rally. Equipped with knock-off Minilite wheels for better performance. Many details are original, like the wooden steering wheel. The wheel arches have been widened a bit.
The Jaguar is not in a concours condition but is a true driver’s car. You can use it with great pleasure for many years in this condition. The paintwork has some damage and the usual signs of wear and tear (see photos).
If you want this E type in top condition, then it is an ideal base for a concours restoration. The bodywork is intact and the technique is fine.
In short, a well-driving Jaguar E-type for the genuine enthusiast!
You are more than welcome to view this car in our showroom and to take it for a test drive before you place a bid.
This vehicle can be viewed and picked up in Oldemarkt, the Netherlands.
