Seller's description:
Jack classic cars srl
Delivered new on 12 March 1964 by the "Fattori & Montani" dealer in Rome, this E type 3.8 coupé spent all its 60 years in Italy, passing from Rome to Cosenza in 1965, then to Milan, Naples and finally to Padua in 2017.
Sold new in the original “opalescent gunmetal” color scheme with a “grey” interior, it spent its first few years in its stock configuration.
It was officially deregistered in 1987, probably after several years of use.
Then in 1989, as confirmed by the Csai and Fiva documentation, it was set up in the GTS configuration by the Nicodemi workshop with modifications such as the tank, the rollbar and the sports seats, but maintaining the lines of the original bodywork.
Over the years it lost its original monobloc, probably due to some breakage, which was replaced with one of the same period and model.
From 2009 to 2012 he participated in various competitions, winning the Italian hillclimb championship in 2011.
Today in excellent condition of bodywork and mechanics, it can be updated to be entered again in vintage races, or even be an excellent starting point for a complete restoration project to bring it back to its original color and with the original license plate. era.
