Kruse auction, 9/5/1998, Auburn IN lot #3279. Sports Car Market report reads:
"Chrome wire wheels, grille guard. Rusty, poor rubber seals, chipped edges, bad door fits. They tried to cover it up with a coat of paint but it didn't work. Deserves the accolade "Fright Pig"."

Dispatched to Jaguar Cars, New York on the 14th of January 1964, this matching numbers LHD example was, according to its Heritage certificate, originally finished in Opalescent Golden Sand with Red interior. At some point the car was exported to Japan where it remained until earlier this year. Offered in need of full restoration, it does however, run and drive. Comes complete with Heritage certificate and NOVA documentation. Mileage recorded at 83,855.Chassis number 889764.
