Owned by a keen E-Type enthusiast, this cabriolet has been subject to extensive work. The engine (no longer the original one) was refurbished in 2016, including the restoration of carburettors and replacement of the ignition, the water pump, brakes master-cylinder, assistance system and clutch. The front brakes are fitted with AP Racing callipers. Since then, the maintenance has been consistent, including a recent service.

The bodywork was fully refurbished in 2012 and included the floors being replaced. As stated by the appraisal coming with the car, the visible parts of the platform and chassis are in good condition, with no signs of major impact or corrosion. The car is in sound condition and was repainted in white during the restoration. With an older quality restoration, the beautiful black leather interior is enhanced by a pretty patina. The dashboard is in good condition, as well as the black alpaca soft top.

This well-maintained example is one of the most iconic sports cars of its time, in a version that is among one of most desirable, purest and highly sought-after.
