    Fahrzeugbeschreibung

    Der Jaguar E-Type 3,8 FHC der ersten Serie aus dem Baujahr 1964 ist im Jahr 2000 aus den USA nach Deutschland importiert worden. Bis 2014 stand das Fahrzeug dann in einer privaten Sammlung und wurde im Mai 2014 dort vom jetzigen Eigentümer erworben und bis Mai 2015 in unserer Fachwerkstatt im originalzustand restauriert. Die Restaurierung können Sie auf unserer Internetseile www. oldtimerservice-luebeck.de in einem kleinen Bildband ersehen.
    Dokumentiert wurde die Restaurierung mit einigen hundert Bildern und mit einem Wertgutachten der Zustandsnote 2+ abgeschlossen.

    Es handelt sich hier um ein Fahrzeug das in dem originalfarbton dark blue und der Innenausstattung biscuit mit einem original dem Fahrzeug zugehörigen Motor mit originalem golden straight-port Zylinderkopf und drei SU - HD 8 Vergasern sowie dem originalen 4. Gang MOSS Getriebe sehr aufwendig und fachgerecht restauriert wurde.
    Der Gesamt km Stand ist nicht bekannt, seit der Restauration ist das Fahrzeug ca. 300 km gefahren worden.

    Der Motorlauf, die Schalteigenschaften des Getriebes sowie das gesamte Fahrverhalten in zusammenspiel von Fahrwerk und Lenkung sind hervorragend.

    Das Fahrzeug wird auf der Bremen Classic Motorshow in der Halle 5 auf dem OCC Stand C30 zum Verkauf ausgestellt.

    Sightseeing result of the appraiser on 2015/05/11:
    - The Coupe presents itself after professional restoration in excellent general condition. This includes the unchanged in the dimensions of all-steel body. The gap dimensions of the hood, doors and lids are set very fit, there are new seals installed.
    - The glazing is in good condition, the windshield has a little rockfall on education.
    - The original chrome parts, slight patina are worked up, then set accurately.
    - The paint is in the original dark blue renewed extremely professionally.
    - The underbody is partially renewed, painted to spare and conserved with wax.
    - The front frame, receiving the axle forward is in good condition.
    - The interior is largely renewed. This applies to the leather seats and door panels in leather - color biscuit - the carpet plant, the sky.
    - The instrument panel has the switches and gauges of series 1, the wooden steering wheel is renewed.
    - The technology is completely revised.
    - The 6-cylinder engine was disassembled, is measured, constructed with a new seal kit again. It's built an original, golden straight-port cylinder head.

    Cet exemplaire incarne selon nous une des Type E les plus désirables par sa ligne originelle, sa planche de bord spécifique, ses sièges baquets, et le comportement rageur de son 6 en ligne 3.8L. Superbe dans cette configuration, l’auto se présente dans un état magnifique.


    État :


    Général : Cette Type E est en excellent état de présentation. Elle a été entièrement restaurée (carrosserie, moteur, boite, intérieur) entre 2014 et 2015. Toutes les factures sont disponibles et détaillent ces travaux. Aujourd’hui, celle-ci est prête à rouler et se trouve dans son état de sortie de restauration. En tout, c’est plus d’une centaine de factures qui sont disponibles.


    Extérieur : La carrosserie est en très bon état. Elle fut refaite dans son intégralité lors de la restauration : Les factures détaillent un démontage complet et un travail de carrosserie minutieux avant la mise en peinture et le remontage (28000€). Les chromes sont scintillants, les jantes à rayons le sont aussi. Globalement, nous ne relevons pas de défauts majeurs.


    Intérieur : L’intérieur de cette Type-E est dans un état proche du neuf ! Il a été refait en 2015 en conservant l’originalité des matériaux. Les sièges et les cuirs en général sont donc en très bon état. En 2018, les moquettes et tapis de coffres sont changés pour du sur-mesure.


    Mécanique : Le moteur d’origine a été déposé, démonté et entièrement refait. Lors de cette intervention, tous les appendices ont aussi étés changés ou refaits (réfection des carburateurs, du démarreur, de l’alternateur…). En même temps, tous les trains roulants, le freinage, la direction.. ont aussi été refaits à neuf.


    Soubassements: Les soubassement sont très sains et exempts de corrosion. Des photos sont disponibles dans le dossier google drive.
