It is a 1963 Jaguar E-Type fhc, it was originally exported to Canada and brought back to the UK around 1989. At this time it was converted to RHD.
The car is definately a "project" car, it is running and driving but has not been on the road for 3 or 4 years and needs some work. At least one outer sill is soft and needs replaced, perhaps both.

The car is now back on the road having spent the past 3 yrs being rebuilt!. It's in much better condition and is now work in progress on the road. Both sills have been repaired, conversion to alternator and neg earth, a complete IRS strip out and rebuild, new brakes etc. Most other parts either stripped, rebuilt/repaired.
A lovely car to drive and own. Now residing in Hampshire, England.

This is the definitive E-type Jaguar - Series One 3.8 FHC. This is the car that launched a legend in October 1961 and the first generation fixed head, 2 seat coupe is, by far, the prettiest of all E-types. Annoying things like safety and uniform regulations eventually ruined the original Malcolm Sayer design and necessity eventually consigned the E-type top history. But it remains one of the most beautiful cars of all time and the S1 FHC is the best of the bunch.
Guide Price: £45000 to £55000

Just bought the car at barons auction and shipped it down to Devon. The plan is to evaluate the car then start a full strip down, acid dip the body and then a total rebuild. Luckily i am fortunate enough to know a man who can do this work. i know it will take a long time and cost a lot of money but its something I really fancy doing. Hope to undertake some mods like better cooling, better brakes, 5 speed box etc. It will be painted a different colour, one of the opolescents, just haven't settled on one yet. If any knows any more history on the car I would love to hear from them.
Will update this website when its all done in a year or two.

I was wondering where this car ended up. I bought it from a guy in Lloydminster in the mid 1980's and sold it to a UK buyer in 1989. Glad to see she's being so well cared for!
