Sellers description:
1963 Jaguar Series 1 Coupe. White with black interior. 52839 miles. Very clean, very nice Series 1 coupe that has been really well taken care of, very clean underneath, fresh exhaust. Tight and strong running. The white coupe has a non-matching number engine installed which originally came out of the RHD Coupe body that is included in this auction.
Also included in this auction is a E-type RHD coupe body serial number 860917 that comes with a 4.2 E-type engine.
Both cars are located in Westchester County New York about 20 miles north of New York City.

This E-Type Series I Coupé's accompanying Jaguar Heritage certificate reveals that it was manufactured in left-hand drive configuration and sold new via Jaguar Cars, New York, USA to first owner F A Forbes. The original colour scheme is recorded as cream with black interior trim and the original engine as 'R9353-9'.

Restored in the 1980s and described as in generally good condition, the car returned to the UK last year and is presented freshly serviced, MoT'd and ready for a new owner. It is expected to possess a UK V5C registration document by time of sale.
