Restored to the highest standard with matching numbers. The chassis no., engine no. & gearbox no. exactly match the Heritage certificate. As an investment, as a reliable classic to drive yourself or as a century design object that you want to own. The color combination Dark Opalescent Blue with Interior in Red fits perfectly, looks stunning and has all facets. Authentic, classy, sporty and cool.
This E Type was born on the 23rd October 1962. Left the JAGUAR factory on the 6th November 1962 and then shipped to the USA, New York. America loved the E Type. So nearly 70% of the left-hand-drive E Types was sold to the USA.
In 2021, this E Type was found in incredible condition. With Matching Numbers, a very solid body and all the major chrome attachments. Due to the excellent condition, nothing stood in the way of a Nut and Bolt restoration. This Nut-and Bolt-Restoration took 1 ½ years and 2.000 hours work by our experts.
Every single screw was taken in hand, all cavities were opened, only non-repairable body panels were professionally cut out and replaced with new ones. Great care was taken to work exactly as the Jaguar factory did in 1962. All welding points are correct, every detail is in its right place and only tin was used instead of body filler for the surfaces. A technique that only a few specialists master and use today. The gap dimensions and the surfaces, the flat body panels speak for themselves here. Two coats of clear varnish were applied and additionally sealed with ceramic.
The E Type was delivered in Carmen Red with a Black interior. We decided on an authentic color combination of 1962 by the factory. Dark Blue Opalescent was only available for the 3.8 ltr. E-type.
The engine has been tested on an engine test bench, before it was fixed in the E-type. After its complete restoration was finished the E Type has been test driven by us for 330 km. This E Type provides you with the highest quality and drives perfectly.
