Ebay item 1/10/09

Current bid $10,201.01, no reserve, 16 bids, 1 day left in auction. Note the last digit of the VIN on this car is nearly illegible, seller says 887082 is best guess.
Sellers description:
1963 Jaguar Series 1 E-type (XKE) Coupe Auto 27k Orignal miles, the car has been in storage since 1992. This jag is a little different from most, in the early 70's the orignal motor was removed and high performance 289 ford engine ( Mustang ) and transmission was installed by a jaguar shop. The install was done correctly, this was NOT a backyard install! The car itself is very orignal, not much has been changed or altered to convert the car to a 289 so it could be returned to orignal if you wish. The body is very orignal, even the paint is laquer. The chrome is very straight no dents or rust. All the exterior lights work, lens clear etc. The interior is very nice for a 46 year old car, no rips in the seats, all gauges work (except tach). The frame and suspension look to be in great shape! The orignal knock off wire wheels are in great shape including the orignal spare tire (The orignal jack and hammer is in the trunk). This is not a show car but a nice driver.
Many people have asked and YES this seems to be a early flat bottom car.
