This car was subject to an extensive show and concours restoration shown on a German TV channel at a car program split in 10 clips. The spended amount was claimed to have exceeded 200k €. The body was in bad shape resulting in a complete roof replacement. It seems that the car rolled over once in its life time.

The engine received new liners. Strange from my point of view: They did not cool down the liners and heated up the block, which I would have expected. The simply pressed in the new liners.

Subsequently the car was drawn to one spectator. Unfortunately I did not win :(

The car was originally delivered in opalescent bronze with beige interior. However the choosen color seems to be much brighter. It looks rather orange.
Nevertheless nice car and I wish the new owner a lot of fun with the car! And I need to stick to and be satisfied with my cars. At least 887313 finally arrived back from an extensive overhaul and looks really good. But 885017 starts leaking again somewhere at the front of the engine - despite two engine revisions.... this car turns out to be my little trouble maker!

Regards

Stefan
