S1 E-Type, FHC, chassis # 886248. Hi, Your help would be greatly appreciated. I purchased a 1962 LHD series 1 3.8 FHC on eBay for £7,300, and never got it. It was on june 2004, the car was supposed to be in the USA and to arrive in a british port 6 to 8 weeks later. The seller was Jason Cook from JC's British Imports, Stourbridge, West Midlands DY9 8RG, UK. I talked to him, but I can't get in touch with him any longer. I received a signed invoice for the car and I consider me as the legal owner of this car. I can mail you a copy of this invoice if you need one, as well as the pics and other documentation.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
