886196 arrived in Vienna/Austria yesterday. A very very original car, never opened or restored, very little traces of rust and just one (awful) paint in the original colour. The outside will be redone in winter. The 56.456 miles seem to be correct. Absolute Rarität.
Noch nie restaurierter Ur-E-Type. Chassis Nr. 886196, also der 1196-te (im Juni 1962) gebaute LHD, somit einer der ersten Nicht-Flatfloors.
Selbstverständlich matching numbers. Rostfrei. Einmal in USA schlecht lackiert. Alu Dashboard. Technisch tadellos.
Bei weitem kein perfekter E-Type, aber ein selten originaler, wunderbarer Daily Driver.
