Car has a buy it now price of US $59.750,00 for 15 days. Seller kurttannermotorcars, 22k miles.
Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS is this early and very interesting E-type Coupe. This car was recently purchased from a seller in the high desert of California where it was in the ownership of his family for the past 40 years. It has been stored off the road for the last 20 years. It is a highly original and together car, and has never been disassembled. It appears to have been repainted and retrimmed a few times, and now awaits a proper and straightforward restoration.
Despite the old scabby paintwork, the body on the car is actually straight and reasonably solid. There is some typical bubbling in the lower rocker panels and under the boot floor under one of the spare tire rails. There are two small rust-through areas on the bonnet (pictured) from some exposure to the weather. The dipped floor sections in the front footwell have some very minor usual rust. The body overall is very straight and accident-free with very decent panel fits/gaps.
The original matching number engine in the car turns nicely by hand and may even run with some work. The oil appears clean. The previous owner noted that the car was put into storage because of braking issues.
The car still retains it's original early Roadster style seats and "smooth" oil pan, along with it's other early features.
Overall, an excellent, untouched, highly desirable early 3.8 Coupe in a rare and superb color scheme. A nice, straight, decently solid California car awaiting a proper and correct restoration.
Please look at all pictures and call or email with any questions.
This car is sold with a clear title and is available for inspection by appointment.
This car is located in Southern California, 35 minutes (30 miles) from the Los Angeles Port of Long Beach.

This car is still being restored in Belgium, by Marreyt-Classics and Twin Cam, for its new owner who bought it from us.
It has however been the subject (several times already) of fraudulent eBay adverts, such as this one: www.ebay.de/itm/1962-Jaguar-E-Type/163168268719
At this point in time, this specific car is NOT for sale.

Thank you Vincent.
I was unable place a comment with link. Not sure why, but somehow, sometimes this site has some bugs.
Thanks again for the nice chat we had 2 days ago.

This car is again subject of fraudulent sellers and offered on Mobile.de for €29.750,- by a private seller in France. After I showed interesm I was contacted by an Italian company LLC-Investments in the South of Italy (Siderno) who claimed to have the car for sale. All my questions where nicely answerered in English and I even received all requested pictures. The car was offered as chassisnumber 886155 and the pictures of the chassisnumber and id-plate were falsified! All other pictures where the same as on this website and even parts of the text was used in the advertisement.
