Sellers description:
1961 Jaguar XKE flat floor coupe serial #885247, stalled race car project. Car started out a very solid car with original floors. Front and rear suspension is basically ready for re-assembly. Not pictured are motor and transmission which are correct but not matching numbers. Also several boxes of parts go along with the car that are not pictured. Car is a non-titled vehicle and comes with a bill of sale only.

Sellers description:
Vehicle started out as a very solid coupe missing engine & transmission & other misc. A picture of the body when it was in bare metal before paint is among the photos listed.
Car was transformed into a race car about 7 years ago but never finished.
3.8 XKE engine & transmission are included with a Weber Manifold with Solex Side Draft Carbs.
Suspension was all cleaned & painted.
Some parts rebuilt and ready to install.
Dash & gauges are included.
There is no interior.
There is door & quarter window hardware.
There is back glass but no windshield or trim.
There are taillights but no other lamps
There are no bumpers
There are a few engine compartment components but only what is needed to race.
There is no radiator or cooling fans.
There are no headers or exhaust.
There are no wheels or tires.
Mileage is unknown.
VIN number is 885247. Data plate is included.
This is a non-titled vehicle and will be sold with a Bill Of Sale.

Thought he want to get it but his 61 fhc is FIA approved and will never be street legal so he passed on he engine to bad :(((

It's idiots like you that give give these types of forums a bad name. It is a good job he doesn't know who and where you are , you would be putting your hands very deeply into your pockets for a court pay out. Perhaps XKE data would like to enlighten us on that fact so Mario can do exactly that.
