I bought the car in 1968. It was stock. From 1969 to 1970 it was converted into a race car. In it's earliest racing form, it ran the 1/4 mile in 13.7 seconds @ 103-mph at Lion's Dragstrip. By 1970 it had a D-type cylinder head, EJ gear box, 12" disc brakes, full HD suspension, fiberglass hood, lightweight steel body panels, 5-pt rollcage, bolt-on 8" steel wheels and a full race 3.8 engine. The Jaguar factory supplied me with some parts at no cost.
If anyone knows where the car is or what happened to it, PLEASE send me a note!!!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
