Hilltop Auto is offering for sale our 3.8 liter, Series I XKE Roadster. It is a fully matching number car and came from a gentleman's estate in Minnesota. This is a true barn find that was not stored in a barn, but has been stored in a heated warehouse since 1979. The numbers of the car are as follows: Chassis - 881735 , Engine - RA7251-9, Body -R863, Gearbox - EB15405JS. The car is great original shape and is in super dry condition. There are no signs of any accidents and the bonnet, the doors and the boot close perfectly. We can find nothing missing, it even comes with a partially complete tool kit, the jack and the spare, which usually are missing. The engine turns freely, and it will start if the tank has fresh fuel put in it. We believe the 31,822 miles on the odometer to be the true mileage for the car due to the length of time the car has been kept in storage. It won't take much to get this car up and running so it can be enjoyed this summer. This a great opportunity to get your hands on a 3.8 liter E-type before they reach the unobtainable price.
