Sellers description:
1964 Jaguar xke 3.8 roadster. A completely rust free and damage free car. This car has had 1 owner since August 1967. It is an older repaint, the original color was golden sand now it is beige. The interior is very original the leather is perfect the hardura has been replaced at some time, the carpets are good. The glass is also excellent. The body is good some evidence of door dings but no damage. The paint is average this car can be used as is but would benefit from a good repaint. The chrome is reasonable some pitting but all reusable. Most of the rubbers especially behind the bumpers have gone hard from the sun and age but they are all complete. Mechanically the car is very good , the oil pressure is good it does not overheat. When you start there is no smoke and no timing chain rattle. Even the transmission shifts well which is very unusual for a moss box. The brakes work fine and the clutch works without judder. The car has a beige cloth top which is in good condition. I believe this not to be a numbers matching car but it is a 3.8 engine. The headlamp glass is perfect and I have 1 new one that goes with the car. The chrome wire wheels are in very good condition.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
