Purchased this car in 2001 from PO who said car had been restored in Utah in the '90's. Car cosmetically very good, with minor driver type scratches and very good to excellent paint (red maroon color), but in only fair mechanical condition. Restoration was back to original as far as current owner can determine. Current owner has repaired mechanical problems (leaking front seal, burned up generator, faulty bonnet elect. plug, tach generator and speedo right angle gear, etc. Also rebuilt brake and clutch hydraulic systems. Car suffered dent in bonnet center section (rolled into Jeep Cherokee rear bumper) on Oct 1, 2004. Repairs commencing asap.

Dec 2011; car currently undergoing front suspension torsion bar resetting and replacement of all bushings with urethane. Gear reduction starter will also be installed. Repairs to bonnet damage in 2004 were very well done.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
