Current bid $70,000 1 bid, 9 days left in auction, reserve not met, buy it now price $110,000, seller odin4363, 53k miles

Seller's description:
VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) 880407
This is an excellent car that underwent a complete restoration on this E type roadster at Billericay Coachworks LTD in Essex, UK 21 years ago. This was a complete nuts and bolts rotisserie restoration that left no expenses spared and included gear box upgrade. Billericay Coachworks LTD in Essex is extremely well-known Jaguar site. It is a matching numbers vehicle. All restorations record I have in a large folder documenting original vehicle before it was sent to UK for restoration. This vehicle runs well, no major mechanical faults but it does remain a 21-year restoration. It is blue in color but originally was red.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
