Car now offered at;

Sellers description:
This 1963 Jaguar XKE Series I Roadster is an extremely honest and original matching numbers example just out of barn storage. Blue with original ivory interior. The doors and hinges are solid and tight. It's been sitting for years and hasnt been started or driven for quite some time but the motor turns freely. The exterior is in good condition appearing to have been re-sprayed at some time in the past. All of the chrome bumpers and trim are present and in usable condition showing some minor pitting. A fantastic original car for straightforward restoration.

Price: 69,500

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
